Renaldo Nehemiah

Renaldo Nehemiah is one of the hottest new stylists on the sceneOn this journey we call life, one never really knows where the roads that lie ahead will end. You can plan to reach your destiny, map out you scholastic career, and even pick your honeymoon vacation. Somewhere along that route to happiness there comes a curve that sends you spiraling and you loose focus of what once seemed so clear –  your dreams.  A true test of one’s character is measured by the reaction to the obstacles in life and how they promptly adjust to achieve everything they initially set out to do. Renaldo Nehemiah definitely has overcome any and all obstacles that have presented themselves and he’s continued on the paths to success. Renaldo is hailed as one of the top up-and-coming fashion stylists in the industry. The twenty-five year old credits his success to his love for fashion and evolutionary vision.

His clients range from industry elites such as Ludacris, to mainstream entertainers who include Chingy, Anthony Hamilton, Musiq Soulchild, and Eva Pigford, just to name a few. His credentials are supported by an array of exclusive events like the BET Awards and the Vibe Magazine/Macy’s Fashion Show, where he created some of the hottest looks. This latter event was covered by the UPN network. His works have graced the pages of Vibe Magazine (December 2006 issue) and have been featured in chart-topping videos such as the remix of DJ Khaled’s “I’m So Hood” as well as Snoop Dogg”s “Life of The Party,” just to name a few. Nehemiah has been blessed to work behind the scenes for what’s known as “The Industries Best Dressed Label” –The GOODMUSIC/ HUSTLE Management Team – which is home to superstar Kanye West.

Mr. Nehemiah is becoming a household name within the entertainment and fashion industry as there is an increasing demand for fresh and innovative stylists. “I am not just a stylist but a brand builder,” he remarks; and with such an already impressive track record, you can not doubt him. So if you feel the need to get that fresh, new, exclusive look from head to toe, Renaldo Nehemiah is your go to guy!†

On a more personal note, Renaldo is a graduate of Livingstone College and a Carol City, Miami Native. There aren’t many stylists that come from that area let alone those who have much opportunity for advancement. In Renaldo’s short and successful rise as a stylist he decided to take the independent route and used his own relationships and to gain clients. Three months ago Renaldo partnered with Paris Kirk to start Wearmyclothesat, LLC., an image and lifestyle consulting company. They figured they would take the same path as successful rappers do in building their career. “With our company we are trying to give opportunity to other young stylists that might not have the outlet but have the passion and we are creating the next team of great image and brand builders,” said Kirk. Also along with helping other stylists, the duo is really planning on doing things for the community as well.

The Kirk-Nehemiah team will be partnering with The Jai Group, LLC, Verden Sports Management Group, and Acie Law, point guard from the Atlanta Hawks, to host “Sneakers from a Stylist.” With this event, the group plans to forever impact the lives of teens that attend the Reef House Teen Center, a division of the Future Foundation located in Atlanta, GA. The Reef House Teen Center’s main goal is to expose teens to academic enrichment, life skills training, cultural events, career coaching and job skills. Participants in the center are ages 13 to 18 and are able receive both educational and vocational training. Nehemiah and Law’s plans positively demonstrate the interest in the community and the lives of up and coming talents. They even present the participants with athletic footwear. “I have been privileged to work in this industry and create unique fashion styles for celebrities. I also want to be able to share my success and styles with the children and teens,” says Nehemiah.

Far too many times, once an individual reaches a certain plateau in his or her career, they seem to forget what helped them to get there. They forget the street basketball tournaments, the church fashion shows, the high school talent competitions, and even the homeless man on the corner, who once shared his story. Nehemiah, Kirk, and Law are destined to be great. Not only have they traveled the unbeaten paths but also continued on life’s journey with pride and humility, honor and commitment, integrity and vision. These attributes make for greatness. We at Be-Entertained Magazine only wish the best for them in all future endeavors and may their work speak loudly to those that lend a listening ear.
