Sesame glaze salmon gives a modern spin on a traditional dish that marks elegance for any occasion. This light yet filling dish paired with Green Tea Rice Pilaf seals the deal .This dinner is bound to show someone how much they mean to you. 

Sesame glaze Salmon with Green Tea Rice Pilaf
2 Salmon Fillets
1 Pinch of Crushed Red Peppers
2 Large garlic clove chopped
2 tablespoon Sugar
4 tablespoon dark soy sauce
Zest and juice of 1 lime
2 tablespoon Sesame Oil
In a small bowl mix garlic and sugar together to form a paste. Whisk paste together with Soy Sauce, Sesame Oil, Lime juice and zest. Season Salmon lightly on both sides with salt and Pepper, Place Salmon in a shallow dish and cover with sesame Oil mixture, allow salmon to marinade on each side for 15 minutes. Remove salmon from marinade (reserve Marinade) and place on baking pan, Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Heat marinade over medium heat in a sauce pan, allowing to reduce until it thickens into a glaze. Serve over a bed of Green Tea rice Pilaf. Spoon glaze over Salmon after plating.

Green Tea Rice Pilaf
2 green tea bags
1 1/2 cup of rice
2 ½ Cups of water
2 oz olive oil
4 oz chopped onion
In a medium sauce pan heat oil and onion over medium heat until onion is translucent. Add rice, sauté until rice is lightly browned. Add water and tea bags. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a very low simmer for 20 minutes. Remove tea bags and fluff rice with a fork and small amount of whole butter.
