Dondria Performs LIVE at the Bonner Brothers Hair Show Celebrity Lounge

Singer/Songwriter Dondria melted the hearts of the listeners as she performed her 1st single “You’re the One” at the Bonner Bros. Hair Show Celebrity Lounge in Atlanta on 8/9. Outside of a few technical difficulties, Dondria delivered an awesome performance…mesmerizing the crowd as she hit hight notes galore. Other notable guests of the Celeb Lounge included Lisa Wu-Hartwell, Miasha Coleman (renowned author), Derek J, Victor Jackson, Nivea, Shay Johnson (Buckeey), Dwight Eubanks, Princess Banton Lofters, Michelle Brown (StraightFromtheA), Freddyo and of course the ladies of April Love PR

BE Pic’d: Tank & Vivica Fox at Echelon 3000 in Atlanta

Club Echelon 3000 was literally a blaze last night for Tank‘s performance & Chris Brown‘s “appearance”. The VIP was extra packed as Tank, Vivica Fox, and Chris Brown hit the stage (Jagged Edge was also in the building). Tank was extra personable after his performance, allowing fans and media to infiltrate his VIP section as he passed out Patron shots & took pictures. Vivica looked amazing as she allowed Freddyo to snap pictures of her and her friends. The night seemed to BE going great….until Chris Breezy took the stage; then the place went BANANAS!
I really did like Echelon 3000 & the nice ambiance that the club gives, but all the BS that they go thru for the celebrity & not the customer is BOGUS! AND I’m guessing C.Breezy’s celebrity out trumps Tanks BEcause Tank was also rudely put out of VIP for the Chris Brown clan (I’m sure you ca
n guess that the BE Team was rudely put out of VIP after BEing credentialed to cover the event…and after receiving every possible color wrist band in the entire rainbow). Chris Brown was only really seen by the GROUPIES since he abruptly took a back spot in his VIP section and greeted the crowd…at least he did sing a little bit of “Deuces”, but that didn’t all the way please the customers that paid $40 a pop only to NOT see Chris Brown, but his adoring groupies and club security.

Design Essentials 20th Anniversary Party
Rashan Ali partied the night away along with a number of invited guests for the 20th Anniversary for Design Essentials. There was lots of dancing (you know Rashan Ali & he co-host kept the party moving!!!), food & drinks to keep the night going. The Bonner Brother’s Hair Show was in town so you know the ladies (and some fellas) had their hair decked out & the out of towners came ready to get it IN!

BE Needs Your Help: Lets Help Bury Darnell Fields (17 yr old MURDER VICTIM)!!!

Darnell Fields, a 17 year old young man, was shot to death in Clayton County while walking with his Aunt, and his muderer is still at large. [SOURCE]

As if that’s not sad enough, Darell’s family (like lots of families with unexpected deaths) is struggling to pay for his burial expenses. Can you imagine losing a son, a brother, a nephew…a friend to a sensless act of violence by someone almost double his age? But to add to that pain the fact that money could stand in the way of a proper final home-going does something to my spirit! OUR YOUTH IS ALL WE HAVE TO RESTORE A BETTER LIFE FOR GENERATIONS TO COME…so to lose them at such a young age FOR NO REASON AT ALL is a hard blow, but it’s even worse to think that his legacy could BE slighted due to money!

LET’S ALL HELP!!! Here’s how you can lend a hand to buy him properly! The funeral is FRIDAY (7/30), so let’s move on this QUICKLY!

Donations can be made DIRECTLY to:

BEST BET AWARDS EVER: 10th Anniversary show capped by emotional Chris Brown tribute to Michael Jackson

The BET Awards 2010 was arguably the most entertaining show yet with electric performances from Queen Latifah, Alicia Keys, Diddy/Dirty Money, Ludacris and Rick Ross. But the most touching performance by far had to go to Chris Brown, who after burning down the stage with MJ’s signature moves, tried to perform the introspective, “Man in the Mirror” when the lyrics hit too close to home prompting an emotionally charged break down. Chris won over a lot of hearts and prompted forgiveness for his past indiscretions. Finally, it’s time to MOVE ON.

Although, the weather was definitely a negative (started out 102 degrees; ending in showers), it stopped nothing on the inside where the shoot was taking place. The shoot’s hot scenes brought out Atlanta’s own, stylist, Tameka Foster a
nd many other artists. The hit single “Statistics” was already a must hear because of the issues that Lyfe brings out in it, but the heated scenes that coincide with lyrics to the song will make the video an even more must see.
