Shoji is not the only designer going on an international journey for Fall 2012.  Jason Wu took a trip to China  for his Fall 2012 collection, which debuted Friday at New York Fashion Week.

The ancient Chinese military look, with lots of red and green took over the runway, and puffer jackets! There was also a big inspiration from old Hollywood, and the show BEgan with such a bang! Smoke and fortress doors opened the show, and had a very theatrical ending. Embroideries, lace, gold buttons and capes embraced the runway, with looks that will make any woman feel like she is royalty from another era.

Jason Wu’s mark was made back in 2008 when Michelle Obama wore one of his dresses for the presidential inaugural ball. His career has BEen only going up since then, with no signs of slowing down.
