richthekidFRONT

The name Dimitri Roger may not ring an instant BEll, but when you throw in the his well known rap moniker Rich the Kid, it all makes sense, at least in hip hop’s thriving “trap” world. The NY bred, ATL made “Quality Control” signed rapper could possible BE your favorite trap stars favorite rising rapper. Rich has managed to gain a cult following thru a series of street savvy and “hood” relatable mixtapes, BE it with his popular counterparts like Gucci Mane & Migos, or killing tracks on his own.

The “trap” scene isn’t much of an underground scene anymore, especially in Atlanta. Thru the recent emergence of blatant trap music (once coined by ATL’s self-proclaimed King of the South T.I.) has extended BEyond just music. Rich the Kid has adds to the trap movement through his controversial clothing line TRAP, which showcases the many elements of trapping from gangster masks, whisks to flick-a-da wrist, measuring cups, Mary Jane plants (medicinally themed, no doubt…LOL), and of course wads of money, just to put the icing on the cake, or the hot sauce on the bird, rather.

Along with designing TRAP, Rich the Kid continues to stay in high demand both in the streets & in the industry. Whether he’s in the studio cranking out hood anthems, touring all across the country, or flossing his unique style on social media, Rich is an obvious fan favorite, putting the necessary stamp on the industry to secure a pretty dope spot in today’s trendy music.
