Everyone loves a good, finger-lickin’ home-cooked meal and rising culinary artist, Chef Mark Phillips specializes in that same southern down home cooking with a unique and exotic twist to appeal to a broad range of his hungry patrons.His love for cooking and BEing creative in the kitchen BEgan at an early age while cooking with his family and it was during his childhood that he realized that he wanted to develop an exciting career doing what he loved growing up. Chef Phillips attended Johnson & Wales and received his A.S. degree in Culinary Arts and his B.A. degree in Food Service Management—two degrees that would eventually open up several opportunities for him.
Chef Phillips expanded his culinary knowledge working with well-known restaurants and catering companies such as Chef Max Miami Catering and The Chef Atlanta. He eventually took on the position as Executive Chef for Atlanta’s popular Buckhead Bottle Bar & Bistro. He has catered to the taste buds of some of our favorite television personalities and celebrities such as the Real Housewives of Atlanta, The Braxton’s, and The R&B Divas just to name a few. Phillips’ passion for cooking and technique in the kitchen has been featured on Atlanta and Company and in Dining Out Atlanta.
Chef Phillips’ hunger to learn more continues to BEnefit the taste buds of those who enjoy his BEautiful and creative dishes. With a motto “The renaissance of artistry where Art and Food are one,” guests who experience Phillips’ “Southern Temptations” will definitely get the taste of classic southern familiarity with a dash of innovation.
