Lesroy Louard is no ordinary man; he’s a lifestyle specialist that thrives on indulging in the finer things in life. Who doesn’t appreciate life’s more BEautiful experiences. The Atlanta resident (by way of Miami) recently ventured over seas to compete on the show “From Italy with Love”, in which he proudly took home the title & came back to Atlanta with new life experiences to add on to his amazing cultural background.

With Lesroy Louard’s abundance of cultural capacity; we had to sit with the man BEhind the brand to get the scoop on how he came to live out his dreams.

HOW DID YOU FORM A RELATIONSHIP WITH ZONIN PROSECCO?

Really it was just a lucky situation. I had an old co-worker rememBEr me & rememBEr my personality & she thought I would BE really good for this competition. She suggested I submit for it, I did, & was selected. It all really happened in the course of only 2 weeks. I was whisked away to Italy, where the Zonin family introduced me to the brand Prosseco & to the Italian culture, & introduced me to their way of life. Then I won the competition & the relationship was solidified.

YOU MENTIONED THAT YOU AREN’T NECESSARILY A CHAMPAGNE LOVER, WHAT DREW YOU IN & MADE YOU LOVE PROSSECO?

It was the Italian experience, really. Going over there to experience Italy, the brand Prosseco aside, BEcause like you said, I wasn’t necessarily a champagne fan. But really going over there and taking in the culture, and drinking wine, and when we had our celebratory moments, you kind of get immersed in the culture, you start to notice how good it really is. I wasn’t a big champagne fan BEfore BEcause I don’t really like the way the bubbles sit on your palette. When i tasted this, i felt the characteristics fit the wine. Your able to enjoy it as an everyday drink if you wanted.

TELL US A LITTLE MORE ABOUT THE “From Italy with Love” COMPETITION.

Once again, a former coworker, who I hadn’t seen in almost 2 year texted me out of the blue letting me know she was casting for a new reality show, would I BE interested? After she told me more, I told her I was absolutely interested. Who wouldn’t want to go to Italy FOR FREE?? It just so happened to BE the summer , things are work were a little slow, so I was able to get the time off and go. The contest took 3 everyday Americans with no cooking background and no knowledge of the Italian culture and taught us the Italian way. We filmed in Venice , Vicenza, Florence, and the Tuscany region. We enjoyed the sites, the culture and the people. The competition taught us how to navigate through the Venice market. We had to cook a traditional seafood and lobster dinner. We also had to cook a traditional Florentine steak which was as thick as your hand and then a wine blending competition. The steak was the size of a basketball players hand and thick as 4 or 5 fingers. The Italian way to cook a steak was very rare. Anything BEyond that was like a cardinal sin. Cook time totaled 4 minutes which meant the outside of the steak was nice and crisp, but the inside was “shall we say, Juicy”. The tie breaker was navigating through the market and the enthusiasm of the contestants and BEing Mr Personality, I brought that out.

THIS HAS BEen A REALLY TOUGH YEAR FOR BLACK AMERICA. BEing ABLE TO GO OVER SEAS AND  FINDING APPRECIATION IN NEW MARKETS, SPEAK TO ME ABOUT BEing ABLE TO GET NEW CULTURAL EXPERIENCES.

The Events we have BEen dealing with such as racism and police brutality are very unfortunate. All you can do is try to educate your peers and future generations is to help the to BE aware and proactive of the things that are going on. Instead of reacting negatively , think, use our heads and find ways to progress. In terms of opportunities for us to experience things, sometimes you have to step outside of your house to experience life. Eupopse is a completely different experience. The way they dress, live, eat and work. They Work to Live instead of Living to work. Often times we don’t get a chance to enjoy the fruits of our labor or appreciate the simple things in life. You can’t close and box yourself in. it’s important to broaden your horizon so you can appreciate the things you have. Broaden what you think everyday so you can inspire the next person.

THE BE READERS LOVE TO KNOW ABOUT GOOD DRINKS, WHAT IS IT ABOUT ZONIN PROSSECO THAT WOULD APPEAL TO OUR READERS OVER OTHER BRANDS?

I can’t give you the correct answer on why this over the other brands, but I will say THIS is a great product. The taste , it doesn’t leave the hard taste on your tongue. This is not as expensive as the other bottles. It’s more like the hidden rookie in the background, waiting for it’s time to shine. It’s not cheap tasting and it pairs well with many different foods. It’s also comparable to many of the popular brands that cost more than double what a bottle of Zonin costs.

GIVE ME A LITTLE BIT OF BACKGROUND ON YOU AND HOW IT TIES INTO THE LIFESTYLE INDUSTRY .

First and foremost I am a father to a BEautiful 8 year old girl. She’s my everything I do with her in mind to make sure she never wants for anything.My Profession is a Video Editor, I edit everything from documentaries to sports and entertainment pieces . It’s also my side business . So you gotta have the passion for your craft if you do it professional and you come home just to do it all again. I love to BE active by playing sports and staying fit. I love to have a great time in life. Having good drinks and good people around your help create that lifestyle even when you aren’t feeling your BEst.

WHAT ARE SOME THINGS YOUR REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2015?

Honestly, I want to work on BEing a BEtter person and communicator. Professionally I want to continue to BE the BEst in my field and eventually BE known as one of the BEst. With Zonin, I hope to BEcome a brand ambassador and help spread the word about this awesome product. They are currently #1 in Europe and I want to do my part to make them #1 here in the U.S.. Most people don’t know they are based out of Virginia and marketing is done out of  out of Miami, so I would like to BE apart of pushing this brand to it’s peak.
