British retail billionaire, Philip Green, is stepping up the expansion of his Topshop/Topman brands in the United States. In the coming months, the New York City flagship on Fifth Avenue will be the retailer’s second-largest store in the world. The chain, which already operates in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Las Vegas, will also have a U.S. head office in Manhattan. This location will BE home to buyers, a visual merchandising team, and a marketing department which means good news for the NYC job market. This is very exciting and I am surely a consumer looking forward to the shopping experience.
