Code Crew is founded by Jamal and Felicia O’Garro in 2013. Both
are from traditional corporate working backgrounds but now
prioritize tackling the diversity issue in the tech sector. As
African-Americans, both Felicia and Jamal were able to break down
the barriers to entry and want to help others from their demographic
do the same thing. They would like to spread the message that in
order to increase the amount of diversity in tech and how it starts
with those who are proficient in computer science but also have a
need to lead and teach.

Felicia and Jamal have become the spokespeople for this tech/diversity issue
