Last night, Atlanta showed up and showed out for a man who is literally everywhere, all the time. Famed Photographer/Blogger/Store Owner, Freddy O held his first fashion event for his #iPledgeToHustle apparel line; our very own EIC Jason “J.Write” Dinsmore put on his Emcee hat as he hosted the 1st Annual Fashion Show. Freddy O gave independent hustlers the opportunity to showcase their creative projects by giving them an outlet expose their brands on a grander scale. With over 400 of Atlanta’s flyest folks were in attendance – the outside vendor fair, networking event, and fashion show was certainly one of a kind.
Special Guests included Lil Scrappy (LHHATL) who came to support his Daughter Emani’s t-shirt line Emula, Bambi (LHHATL) who showed her Lipstick Shimmer line, Rasheeda Frost (LHHATL), Terrance Davidson (Real hairstylists of ATL), Trina (and hubby GaBE) and Towanda Braxton (Braxtons Family Values), Singer/Actor Jacob Latimore, Romiah Armstrong (Singer/Songwriter), Princess Digital (Crime Mob), Toya Wright and daughter Reginae Carter, who presented her SHUT UP t’s, Mignon Dixon presenting her You Ain’t Talkin Bout Nuttin’ shirts , Celebrity Makeup Artist Cookie Jackson (The New Indie/ItsCookiesWorld), Dice Dixon (Lala’s Full Court Life) showing her Roll the Dice T-Shirt Collection, actor Carl Payne, activist Chanita Foster, Sabrina Rowe (Big Rich Atlanta/Tu La 2 Nails), Celebrity Chef Kymmis and so many more.
Additional t-shirt lines included Hustler’s & Heels, Lucky Loser, ShaLaJa Swimwear, Speak Nation, Legendary Kings & Queens, BITCH (by @IAmPerez), Bizarre, & Wild Life. One of ATL’s busiest & dopes DJs , DJ A1 provided the show’s soundtrack & kept the crowd #TTU all night. Cameraman TV also kept the crowd crunk emceeing the networking pre-party. Additional thanks goes to Dea Win (for always holding Freddy down & together), Greg Cole (Nancy’s Buckhead), Erica Diaz (The B Firm PR), NeShanta Davis, Signature Sipz, Courvoisier, each & every vendor, and all of the backstage crew (hair, makeup, production, etc). Lots of LOVE to Mama FreddyO too…she treats us like we’re one of her own & we appreciate it.
Congrats Freddy O for bringing the people together. Thanks for letting us BE apart of this amazing night.
