The always innovative yet classic designs of MMM hit the runway for Spring/Summer ’13 leaving the seated guests all googly eyed with amazement of his take on this menswear collection. Maison Martin Margiela honed into the creative process to deliver a collection of re-purposed textiles with unexpected burst of metallic, tuxedos with a drawstring pant, vintage inspired t-shits, and embroidered waistcoats.
With attention to tailoring, MMM accomplished the perfect fit of his tuxedo jackets in soft hues still masculine and persuasive and you man’s confidence. The double breasted blazers seem to have an encounter with the scissors as he clipped with sleeves to cap the shoulders, again paired with a pair of drawstrings suit trousers. My favorite would have to BE that patchwork trench coat & painted trousers. With many designers springing forth pants in many colors and patterns, I dare to BE different and everyone knows I love a good pant. I BElieve that the MMM customers would BE please with the delivery of the collection as it hits racks soon.
