Yesterday, Atlanta’s media got our first taste of the upcoming reality show the Real Hairstylists of Atlanta. Executive Producers Shante Traynham, Mimi Carpenter, & Tameka “Tiny” Harris held a press conference to introduce the new show, which is based in Atlanta & will showcase the lives of different hairstylists that are further building their brands. Atlanta hairstylist/Reality TV maven Dwight Eubanks is also a part of the show, as he was the press conference, facilitating the entire event & aiding in explaining the show’s concept.
Some of the major questions asked of the EP’s were about the slated network that RHSOA will appear on. The EP’s explained thay they’re currently in a “bidding war” and that they didn’t want to single any of their potentials out in hopes that others will jump in the war. Questions about the similarity of RHSOA to other shows like Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) & L.A. Hair were also asked to which the EP’s assured the crowd that while the names and certain aspects may seem similar, RHSOA will stick out and BE on it’s BEst BEhavior with minimal drama & actual solutions to the problems that arise on the show.
While the networks bid, RHSOA aren’t stopping in Atlanta, pre-production for RHSONY have already started according to the EPs.
