Rolling out magazine recently partnered with Ford to present and Gentleman Jack to bring “Men of Power and Influence event. Tastemakers and key influences from Atlanta’s prominent business, entertainment, arts and technology sectors have were invited to this very upscale event.
The 2012 Men of Power & Influence came from a variety of fields including Community, Business & Technology, Arts & Entertainment, Health and Education, Sports and more. The list of honorees reads like a list of the Who’s Who of Atlanta, with many of the honorees BEing nationally recognized as visionaries in their field.
The Men of Power & Influence honorees included: Legend Award (s): Entertainment Mogul/Philanthropist Michael Mauldin, Jermaine Dupri (who joined via satellite), Government & Civic Service Award(s): Councilman Kwanza Hall, Lee May, Arts & Entertainment Award(s): Shondrae “Bangladesh” Crawford, Roscoe Dash, Business & Technology Award(s): Rod Edmond, Mark Pitts, Community Award(s): Atlanta Vee-Jay/Restaurateur Frank Ski, CNN’s Emmy-winning Journalist and Television Anchor Don Lemon (who couldn’t attend due to BEing on assignment), Sports Award(s): Angelo Taylor, Derek Anderson, Health & Education Award(s): Dr. William Jelani Cobb and Professor Nathan McCall.
