R&B Divas Take On L.A…MEET THE NEW CAST???

TV One’s hit show, R&B Divas, not only expanded its original cast (adding Grammy nominee Angie Stone and former Xscape Member) but are taking on L.A. and filming is said to begin this month. The show that is currently filming its second season in Atlanta is branching out and we like it.

Reality TV’s finally shining light on real women with real talent…

Who are the LADIES YOU ASK???

Kelly Price

BE Mags former cover artist,Kelly Price, will be a part of the cast and we are most definitely excited. Since the first time Kelly hit the scene, the world has fallen in love with the songstress. Kelly’s best known for hits like,  As We Lay (cover of Shirley Murdock’s), Friend of Mine, and He Proposed.

Chanté Moore

Chante’ Moore will also be joining the cast. Best known for Hit Single, Chante’s Got a Man at Home.

Lil’ Mo

Mo Mo Mo…Lil Mo’ is most definitely a fav. of BE Magazine and we can’t wait to see this ‘SANGING’ lady on the show. Lil Mo is most known for collaborating with artists such as Ja Rule, Angie Martinez, Missy Elliott, and Fabolous to name a few.

Dawn Robinson

Dawn as well as Lil Mo, Chante and Kelly, needs no introduction. The songstress is most known for being a member of En Vogue.

Claudette Ortiz

Jersey Native, Claudette, is most known for being the female vocalist in the group City High and also the female voice on Wyclef’s hit Two Wrongs.

 Michel’le Toussaint

Many may not know this songbird by name but if a song of hers were to come one the radio, it’s a 80% chance you will know it. Michel’le was orginally the featured female vocalist on World Class Wreckin’ Cru’s hit single, Turn off the Lights. (Does it ring a bell). In 1989, she released her self-titled debut album, produced by Dr.Dre, that sold 2.7million world wide and contained singles, “No More Lies”, “Nicety”, and “Something in My Heart”.

BE’s wondering… How do you feel about the new cast? Are you going to watch?
