There really isn’t much left to say about Rockmond Dunbar. His defined and unique acting abilities has made him a one of a kind entity and one of Hollywood’s finest, yet he’s far from Hollywood. He’s actually quite next level, taking on a numBEr of untraditional roles (Punks, Dirty Laundry, Noah’s Arc) along with the major projects (Soul Food, Prison Break, Terriers) he’s BEen blessed wiith.
Along with acting, Dunbar also shares a love of art, philanthropy, and of course music. He was recently in Atlanta BEing honored with a Diamond Award, so we had to take the opportunity to pick this world renowned actors brain.

ROCKMOND DUNBAR: It feels pretty good you know. You’re stepping out for a good cause, something that really hits close to home, and you get awarded for it. I encourage everyone to step out and actually take care of their humanitarian efforts.

ROCKMOND DUNBAR: Awwww man, you know, I just formed my little production company so we have 20 film and television projects that I just acquired the rights to. We just sold our very first television series this year, which is really great. It’s in development now; so hopefully we’ll see that out next year. I just finished Private Practice, The Defenders, Chicago Code is coming out next year, with Shawn Ryan (@ShawnRyanTV), he actually created Terriers, which is a show that’s running now. Shoot man, just hustling. Going to Nigeria, get my film slate funded; just making it happen.
