BEing Georgia bred is a definite strength now-a-days, especially for rapper Sway Baby. His GA roots have not only helped him in the swag department, but when it comes to knowing the grind session that it takes to break into the industry, Swazy Baby is at the top of his game.
Swazy Baby grew up in Cordele, Georgia where he faced the same struggles that many of our hustlers from the streets go through. Swazy knew he didn’t want life to catch him up, so he quickly decided to catch up on life through his passion for music. “As a rapper from the ghetto, I don’t want to highlight my struggles and upbringings…like other rappers instead I want to rap about working towards the future and showing communities around the world that if you work hard at something, good things will come to you. I am the voice of the hood, I am here to inspire.”
The hood (along with other entitles) will all BE blessed through Swazy Baby’s music! He’s signed to Slip-N-Slide where he sits next to a lot of BIG acts such as Rick Ross, Plies, Trina, and new comers Jagged Edge. While it’s obvious that Swazy has HUGE shoes to fill, he’s confident that he’s the man for the job. Swazy got signed to Slip-N-Slide through his patna/current manager Bigga Rankin after winning a local showcase twice. Slip-N-Slide captured a previously completed mixtape “Bring Em Out” & the rest is history in the making.
Swazy’s grinding all over from the A all the way to Cali working his single, “Half of It” and the other mixtapes he’s put out.
