Harris and mother Mrs. Dianne Cottle-Pope The foundation seeks to inform & support families living with Alzheimer’s Disease. The foundation was founded in loving memory of Tiny’s father Mr. Charles Pope who passed away in 2013 after a long fight with Alzheimer’s Disease.
For the Love of Our Father was formed in 2012; the organization’s main goal is to raise the awareness to support unpaid caregivers. As part of that goal the foundation kicked off the 10,000 Coins For Change campaign. Over 200 supporters came together to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s Research and unpaid Caregivers . The For The Love Of Our Fathers “Coins for Change” event included live performances from Romiah Armstrong and Jasmine Burke who kept the crowd captivated during the event. During the event, special guest shared their stories and personal hardships with Alzheimer’s, another special guest was none other than Latisha Robb, Author of the recently released “Turn the Lights On So You Can See”.
