Young PR Firm Sets Fundraising Goals of $300,000 to Raise Awareness for Estimated 300,000 Americans Unaware They are Infected with HIV/AIDS
New York City based PR Firm, Beautiful Planning Marketing & PR, (www.beautifulplanning.com), made a timely announcement in honor of December 1st World AIDS Day which included the details for their much anticipated reality star runway event titled “The Reality of FASHION The Reality of AIDS”. Celebrity Reality Stars will join forces to walk the runway for this first-of-it’s-kind philanthropic event in designer pieces all with a unified goal of raising $300,000+ in funding that will directly benefit Beautiful Planning’s 2013 years charity of choice, AIDS United. The evening will officially take place on February 9th 2013 in New York City, a day that also resonates loudly for most as the first day of NYC Fashion Week. Designers across the US are still currently submitting their bids for their work to be the line that will be featured within the show. The high society event will only accommodate 500-600 people in person; however will be presented to the public online via live stream. Designer pieces will be auctioned off online following the event with a portion of the proceeds contributing to the final fundraising goal.

AIDS United was Beautiful Planning Marketing & PR’s first choice as the beneficiary charity for the evening. Located in Washington, D.C. AIDS United works to fund various HIV/AIDS Not for Profits, grant programs, easy treatment access, housing programs and much more throughout the US.

The young CEO Monique Tatum created the event with original plans for it to take place in 2011. It was decided, to ensure the projects success, that it would be best to instead hold the event for February 2013. Reality stars both confirmed, and still in talks to walk within the runway show, range from Basketball Wives stars, Food Network stars, Americas Next Top Model, The Real Housewives of New York City, Style Network stars and more. The final line up anticipated to include stars from past shows as well as extremely exciting and controversial present. The firm has not yet released the official list of celebrity reality stars however will soon debut all details upon the launch of the new look for the events website unveiling within the next few weeks.

Tickets to attend the celebrity fashion fundraiser range from $200 – $450 for standing room, $800 for Priority Seating, to $1200 for VIP first and second row access with swag bags. Patron donations of $2500 or more receive priority row seating and VIP options such as backstage celebrity meet and greet access.
